Mother’s Day Flower Vases Workshop
When is this workshop?
Sunday 7th March 10-12.30pm
What will I learn?Â
Within this workshop your tutor will demonstrate how to create a ceramic vase or jug using the coil-building method. Your tutor will guide you through the process, showing you how to influence the form of your vase and add textures and handles.
Who is this aimed at?
Open to all abilities this workshop can be for the complete beginner to someone with previous hand building experience, looking to really focus on form and surface decoration.
What will I take away?
Your finished hand-built vase will be fired and glazed by our studio team, you will be given a choice of our beautiful stoneware glazes. Your finished piece will be ready to collect 5 weeks post-workshop. Extra pots and postage available at an additional cost.
What do I need to bring?
Oxcombe provides aprons, towels etc, but please ensure you wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy. All refreshments included.
Safety
- Please ensure your safety within the ceramic studio environment and follow our health and safety guidelines.
- These sessions are aimed at adults, younger people 13+ may attend the workshop however are to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
The Pottery Course will be held in the Stables Studio.
